Did not find Nemo

In Naha, one of the wildest experiences is to go to Kokusai St. and walk around all the restaurants and retail shops and bars and pottery stores and... and... and... then there is The Underground. Enter here and you'll find a myriad of places to see and shop and look and gawk.

One of the most interesting is the Fish (and Pork) market. We'll spend this visual week there so you can get a "feel" for this amazing experience... check out this myriad of fish and shellfish on display. You can probably find any kind of fish you could ever imagine... except maybe, Nemo.

A colorful and varied shot, but did you find yourself getting used to seeing fish with their heads still in tact? Quite different that what we would see in Publix. ;D

I love these markets. Great shot. If you can't find it here, you will find it at Tsukiji Fish Market.

Such a collection of colorful sea life. They're too pretty to eat. Leaving the heads is best to determine how fresh the fish is by looking at the eyes. In this country they don't want you to know. I like how you composed the shot and sharing this wonderful journey you were on.
