A True Hope

Posted by

It's Sunday, Y'all!

And inside the castle walls is this one area that includes this building and these stone markers or memorials. Not sure if this is a cemetery or a shrine.

Regardless, here is a hope...

"He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the LORD has spoken." (Isaiah 25:8)

Soli Deo Gloria!

Very interesting ... is that a small sign by the tree? And other in the grass to the right. Of course you wouldn't have been able to read them. ;(
Each of the four stone squares contains a large marker/memorial and then for each pair there is the smaller one.
Sunday blessings!

That would seem to be a tomb. Nice shot.

The kanji meabn: "hi no kami" - God of Fire! Judy wanted to know the meaning and I asked my husband for the meaning! Kanji are beyond me...unfortunately! Have been fighting them for thirty years now!
