Simple Things... again

Posted by

Day 3 of Simple things - we were walking through the streets of Kyoto and came upon this one little shop at the end of a short alley.

Outside the door was this neatly defined space, complete with gray stones and a clearly defined boundary line between the pebbles and path on which we walked.

But what I really liked about this spot was the large pottery bowl, which sat there in its neatly assigned space - open, as if waiting to be filled...

I see this is from your phone and well captured. The Japanese design elements are so precise, deliberate and beautiful.

Great observation and well documented. I like the importance of placement with things to create flow (and energy) in the simplest setting. Good Feng Shui
