A View from the Tower

Posted by
Viewfinder (Bradenton, FL, United States) on 7 August 2013 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

The Tokyo Tower opened in 1958 and has a grand pedigree. So here's a look out across part of Tokyo, from the Tokyo Tower... it was a misty, overcast, drizzly kind of day.

You notice another tower out there? Yep.

Just a little extra info about towers in Tokyo - there is a new kid in town that opened to the public in 2012. New kid or not, it is actually taller than the Tokyo Tower. It's called the Tokyo Skytree.

See it poking thru the low clouds, out there in the distance? Our bus tour didn't go any closer. Bummer.

A beautifully composed shot Glenn! The mist gives it an added air of height! ;-)

One word ... WOW!
Is taller better?
I guess it's the only way to see over the other 'giants'. ;D
