Olde Blossoms in Spring

Posted by
Viewfinder (Bradenton, FL, United States) on 22 February 2013 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

From my archives, I found these Springtime blossoms from one of our trees. During our sojourn in Georgia, we planted blooming cherry trees and crab apples. For the life of me I cannot remember which trees these are from. But with just a very light touch of hdr, the details show up a bit more.

I really like life in Florida now, but I do truly miss the changing seasons sometimes.

Looking out of my window at the grey muggy weather I could leave the seasons behind me and get some of your Florida sun :-)

How beautiful, even if they don't last too long. I used to look out a second story bedroom window down onto the blossoms of a dogwood tree each spring, and I miss that. The first blush of spring, the leaves changing color, and the first few snowflakes of winter are things I miss sometimes.
