Darkest shadows...

Posted by

Things that go "bump" in the night dept:

Something scary lurks in the dark shadows of an old salvage shoppe...

In its original presentation form.

"Oh, but it's just a mask," you say?

Maybe so. But still, I wouldn't go alone into that old salvage shoppe by night if I were you...

Trick or Treat!
(Kicked the pp up a few notches to offer y'all a few Halloween goosebumps.)

Eric Cousineau from Sherwood Park, Canada

Like a scene from Hamlet:

Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio: a fellow
of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy: he hath
borne me on his back a thousand times; and now, how
abhorred in my imagination it is! my gorge rims at
it. Here hung those lips that I have kissed I know
not how oft. Where be your gibes now? your
gambols? your songs? your flashes of merriment,
that were wont to set the table on a roar? Not one
now, to mock your own grinning? quite chap-fallen?
Now get you to my lady's chamber, and tell her, let
her paint an inch thick, to this favour she must
come; make her laugh at that.

Well done Glenn! Happy Halloween! ;-)

@Eric Cousineau: Wow! Thanks Eric. In fact, I think I'll name my little shadowy friend Yorick.

Joyce from Montana, United States

Very imagination stimulating. We fill in the dark places with our thoughts perhaps not pure, nor light of heart. What lurks there in the shadows? Only the shadow knows.

Ooooh, I'm scaring myself.

Haunting yet artsy! I like that you took advantage and saw the creative aspect. Happy Halloween!

I found this in your portfolio, I must say that is an amazing piece of work! I like the words you put down there. Excellent...I agree quite ominous. Masks certainly have their way of looking like they are about to pounce on you secretly, almost solemn even! I did an image sometime back, very different to yours
nonetheless, still the same wise old look like they know something about you which you don't know yet! Fantastic processing!
