Too Late to Do This

Posted by

These two guys were surf fishing at sunset...

Note to Noobs: That's a dangerous thing to do in shark habitat like this. Early morning and late day are both maximum hungry shark activity times. And hungry sharks have big teeth.

Very nice picture, the sea is rough, may be angry no one knows why ... May be against the reckless fishing ...
Well the sunset by the W / B. ..

beautiful shot - I love it in b&w (but wouldn't have thought of a sunset picture in b&w myself).....
Would sharks really come up into that shallow water? I hope not.....

@Chris: Yes, absolutely. They often lurk between the sand bars and when it's early morning or late afternoon/early evening, they strike! Big hammerheads and bull sharks are the biggest problems for people, but a lot of bites come from smaller sand sharks.

I like how the whitecaps really stand out in the B & W capture. I saw a lot of shark fishing in Fort Myers in March.

The sea looks amazing, I can see why they were tempted. You wouldn't catch me in there though :)

I love the wave action, and I never would have even THOUGHT about sharks! We don't hear of them in the waters up here ... only an hour north of you.
Your shot is fantastic!
