Angel in the Morning

Remember that song?
Here's a tomb angel who hangs out at a New Orleans cemetery. She made her color debut here in July, 2007.

The angle you chose to take it at is so perfect VF, I looked back at the colour version and the blue of the sky strucked me, yet it works as well in b&w, truly If I had to choose, I'd have troulbe, definitely a mark of a great photo ;)

I have to agree with Lorraine VF - I 'm also unsure as to which version I prefer, but the Black and white is EXTREMELY striking for me!! I love the way the angel almost jumps out at you - the composition and angle are superb and the cross to the left of her adds extra impact for me.

Thank you so much for your kind words on my series on Erin, she really was a special little girl and we were very Blessed to have known her!

Yes, I remember the song! I prefer the B&W version, the angel is much more striking!

Very good composition. I prefer the color version, maybe a little more contrast for the b/w version could change that...

I prefer the b&w also - with the white of the statue it seems to fit a b&w shot a little better. Great composition with the angel on the right side looking left.....

I love both of your presentations; this one reminds me of the troubles in New Orleans, where the color version speaks of its HOPES!

I think the B & W does a better job of highlighting the various details of the angel's garb and wings. Nice composition!
