Beach Places to Go 1

Posted by
Viewfinder (Bradenton, FL, United States) on 28 January 2008 in Business & Industry and Portfolio.

After hours in the tropical sun, by the pool or on the beach, ya wanna get a head start on Happy Hour? Or on some beachy night life? Want a cheeseburger (in paradise)? A Pina Colada? Well really, where else but big Jimmy Buffett's place? Orlando.

It's five o'clock somewhere...

Nice shot! Looks inviting for a drink! I hope to go to Margaritaville in Montego Bay next weekend to shake a leg.

hahah - awesome shot VF and I loved the last line - it made me think of something I read the other day - it said something like "it's always morning somewhere in the world"!!! hahahaah. I love the bright colours of the sign! and the awesome detail in the sky!

Is there a cheap season in Key West? For us it seems to be expensive year round... Thanks for this colorful reminder that it is always five o'clock somewhere....

amy from Rocky Mountain House, Canada

Right now I could go for that... here's my weather today: it is right now -33C with a wind chill that makes it -47C. I've already gotten stuck in the hard packed snow drift in my office's "parking lot" and had the snow from our steep pitched roof encase me in snow so that I resembled a human snowman.... sigh... the joys of winter!! LOL

28 Jan 2008 4:28pm

@amy: Wow, what a morning. Definite need for a 5:00 Happy Hour today I'd say, especially up where you are in the frozen North.

Chris from South Jersey, United States

Great colors - the picture really "pops". Of course, the horizon is crooked (I can't see it, but I bet it is crooked.....).

28 Jan 2008 4:55pm

@Chris: LOL. Yes, it just has to be crooked. However, you might be pleased that I did straighten up this sign just a tad...

MaryB from Staffordshire, United Kingdom
