Got my first camera for Christmas when I was 10. Self-taught, my photos come in all kinds. Some are terrible, some might have potential, a few might accidentally be kind of ok; a rare one might actually be almost good. Whatever, I have fun and find digital photography and post processing to be a way to express my creative side.
And sometimes my pictures may tell stories, or invite stories to be told. That's when I am happiest because I believe it is only the good pictures that can do that.
My favorite subjects are New Orleans, Florida, California (esp. San Francisco area), the Southwest, urban/streetscapes (anywhere), pets, nature, land/sky/seascapes, people (unposed)... really, any place we may live or travel. My goal is to find the beauty, the interest, the creativity which God has richly provides in making this world and all that is in it. It's new every morning.
So then, now you know something more about me. Maybe it's time for all of us to go out and take that next great picture.
Soli deo gloria!
