Step Away

Some fences are our friends, like this old weathered split rail job, offering a helpful boundary line for those walking the crumbly path that edges a pretty steep drop-off just beyond the line.

@Judy: The path is curving over to the left; the fence is sort of following the curve at the point closest to the drop-off. We've all seen road curve boundaries that do this same thing, with low metal barriers and yellow and black arrows.

The rustic looking fence makes a fine subject in this shot. The fog beyond works well with the idea that a steep drop off is lurking beyond the rails. Nice one.

What a serene and lovely shot. The old rustic fence and the background fading away into the fog. I have always been enthralled with fog pictures and this one is a beauty. Five stars from me.

Definitely a rustic look with the weathered fence. I like how you're still able to discern the range beyond through the fog. Thankfully it wasn't too foggy up along the path. :-)
