Wet and CreepyPosted by Viewfinder (Bradenton, FL, United States) on 31 October 2009 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. Boo! Shifting gears, here's a wet, creepy creature for your Halloween viewing pleasure. Not haunting the shuttered interior of this week's abandoned dance hall, I found this thing in action at a SF/Monterrey area aquarium. It's processed with bw and just a hint of sickly green tint. Definitely not a ghost, but I can't remember if it's a hydra or an anemone. Whatever, it's deadly to the fish who may wander too close to its poisonous tentacles. Looks pretty much like it could be a thing from another planet to me. I'm glad they don't come in people-sized versions... Trick or treat!
