Wet and Creepy

Shifting gears, here's a wet, creepy creature for your Halloween viewing pleasure. Not haunting the shuttered interior of this week's abandoned dance hall, I found this thing in action at a SF/Monterrey area aquarium. It's processed with bw and just a hint of sickly green tint.

Definitely not a ghost, but I can't remember if it's a hydra or an anemone. Whatever, it's deadly to the fish who may wander too close to its poisonous tentacles.

Looks pretty much like it could be a thing from another planet to me. I'm glad they don't come in people-sized versions...
