What a touching shot, VF ... did he have any objection to your taking the photo?

From what I'm seeing at our church with regard to people coming in for our food pantry, this man is fortunate to have held onto his belongings. Nothing seems safe unless they stay awake all night to keep 'vandals' away ... and they've had pretty cold nights lately.

@Judy: No he actually liked it; he got a chance to make a small amount of money for the privilege of me taking his photo. He knows the ropes. A sweet spirit he is, though.

So warm and yet so heartbreaking. I know that I want to go through my closet and take some sweaters and jackets down to one of the shelters. It is getting cold out at night and up here in the Northwest it is also very wet. A prayer for Bella's continuing health.
