Tourists

Homesick, even for the flocks of tourists and locals roving through the French Quarter. Do you know what it means to miss New Orleans? I do. Pen and ink processing, Paint.net. I like this quote...

@Rui: Tourists and some locals there do sometimes behave as if they maybe "are" cartoon characters. Part of the charm.

Interesting treatment here. I like how they are looking at you...they look a little perturbed.

I pray that Bella's tummy feels better. Poor girl. :(

@Laurie: I'd never tried this pen and ink filter much before this week; and never on people. I kind of liked the way they came out - like storybook illustrations (the way I see it anyway).
And Bella's tummy ache seems to be improving; but she's got some congestion and that's not real good, given her heart condition. Thanks for caring.

@Lorraine: I was seated at a table, eating beignets and drinking cafe au lait, watching the world go by. A favorite New Orleans pastime.

I like the framing of the image capturing part of the carriage and horse in background. The pen & ink treatment gives a nice enhancement to this wonderful tourist scene.
One thing we haven't seen here for awhile is a "flock" of tourists. They may be here but hiding out where it is warm.
