Across the Table

Crisp linen tablecloth, sweeteners, pepper, silverware, all waiting for a meal to be served. I could well have posted this shot as one of my "favorite places" in the recent photo challenge some of us participated in.

Clean, clear and crisp .... the photo and the tablecloth! I love the shell-patterned forks too.

@Judy: In the 50s F here this morning, which feels plenty chilly to the tropical conditioned ones like me. I'm laughing; never would have believed I'd say it feels chilly to be in the 50s.

Great shot - simple and beautiful. The setting is a bit fancy for me though - where is the brown paper and mismatched utensils?!?!

@Chris: Haha. This isn't home for me; we were on a lunch cruise boat that left from Sarasota for a two-hour lunch trip. We were guests of someone, so it was especially nice.

I missed this one. It is exceptional. I love the angle and crispness. The beautiful pattern in the forks caught my eye. Great B&W VF. Well done.
I laugh at the "chilly" comments.
I don't dare tell those I speak to in the north that it is cold. Once they asked "what do you call cold" I think it was just below 70 that day.
And I use to snowmobile.
