Equal Time

A big, important election happens tomorrow, America. And big, important decisions need making. Our two major parties are fielding candidates with significantly different approaches, viewpoints, and goals. If elected, one will lead this nation and set the governmental agenda for at least 4 years or more. Tomorrow's not a day to skip exercising the responsibilities of being a citizen in a free, democratic Republic. Vote tomorrow, America. A lot rides on the outcome.

This particular photo is a collage of two benches that sit side by side in front of a Cape Cod "penny" candy store. Equal time, I guess. Heh.

Yep, already cast my ballot with a prayer for our country. Whatever comes, it is going to be a very different place. Not sure I'm all that optimistic.

PS. I forgot. the recipe for the Lemon Ginger Honey drink that I gave Tyan is.... Squeeze the juice from half a lemon into a cup of very warm water, grate a small piece of ginger (to taste) and add a teaspoon of honey. :) It really does do the trick for colds, flu and even a bloated tummy :)

I am so weary of this campaign...two years campaigning is way tooooo long. I am so sick of the "dog and pony show". And as soon as they, whoever it is, gets in office they will just start in campaigning for re-election.

Like John, I am not optimistic either. I don't think either candidate is "all that". But I will hold my nose and cast my ballot as I have done before.

The Republican's seem to be falling off to the left - causing me question the balance of all this. But, I'm celebrating the mood of the nation. It will be nice to return to the world community.
