AbagailPosted by Viewfinder (Bradenton, FL, United States) on 27 October 2008 in Architecture and Portfolio. Abagail's tombstone. In a churchyard cemetery, Cape Cod. I don't know who she was, but I do know she's buried there. Or is she? Bwahahahahahaaa! It's Halloween week, and what better place to continue a deliciously creepy series than at an old graveyard?

Betty from New Jersey, United StatesDefinitely creepy! Your processing is wonderful! Interesting that she died in October... 27 Oct 2008 9:36am @Betty: Yes, that would be October, 1857; that date wasn't planned, but it fits nicely for the series, dontcha think? Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaBig Creep factor LOL I'm looking forward to seeing more :) 27 Oct 2008 10:40am linus. from Singapore, Singaporehaha nice post processing. really brings out the scare factor 27 Oct 2008 10:59am Judy from Brooksville-Florida,, United StatesAnother great image for this week! The MJ critters send their love, a woof and a meow to Bella. Wish I had thought of this graveyard thing for Halloween! Howard F. from South Pasadena, Calif., United StatesPowerful shot. What is that dubious looking white blob in the background? Looks like it came out of the ground, and in skirt? I am running. :)) 27 Oct 2008 4:21pm @Howard F.: Hahaha. I think it might be Casper. But no, depending on which one, it's either another tombstone or a flag. Well done..... 27 Oct 2008 5:09pm Craig from Vacaville, California, United StatesA great start to Halloween! Great conversion! 27 Oct 2008 6:52pm Shirin Moosavi from Tehran, IranGoing to graveyards together with friends would be much more creepy! They would try to scare the hell out of the others! :D 27 Oct 2008 11:47pm JJ from Jersey City, United Statesdefinitely a good halloween shot with the great processing awesome work 28 Oct 2008 12:23am Steven from Chicagoland, United StatesI love the exposure used here. I like finding headstones that speak of a life a long time ago, as in this example. Every year in our community we have a cemetery walk where the prominent dead come alive and a re-enacted in the roles or jobs they had. Makes it interesting. 28 Oct 2008 1:28am tyan from Singapore, SingaporeThanks uncle VF for your caring words at my blog,i copied my reply here for your convenience:) Thanks a lot,Uncle VF for your concern,it was a long weekend over here because of a public holiday on Monday and hub could help around.I am definitely better now:)the months of sept and oct had been terrible for us because of hub's army training..hopefully we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!
