Stairway to Heaven?

It's Sunday, y'all!
And this is part of the interior of an historic old Cape Cod Congregational church which we found were lucky enough to get into because of a friendly workman's presence.
Sorry, but these are not the stairway to heaven - merely a way up to the balcony and choir loft of this particular old church.

Great shot VF, but we all know that the stairway to heaven is John 3:16. It looks like a beautifully kept church. We are all waiting with baited breath and many prayers for the 14th.

I always like the light oak athmosphere in so many churches, so hospitable. I hope you had a good service. Ours was about the fellows who wanted to kill the wineyard-owner's son in order to get hold of his possessions, his father's heritage. It was new to me, but revealing, that the Lord was accusing here the highpriests and elite who didn't pay their temple taxes, but were anxious to let others pay them.

Great comp and framing here, VF! The window breaks up the line of the stairs wonderfully and adds a great warmth to the wood.
