Cape Rooftop

Common rooftop "look" along the Cape. I like the straight lines and stark simplicity of so many Cape houses and buildings. I think it is a reflection of the climate, and of the straight-arrow mindset of those living there.

VF goes under the knife this morning. Yes friends, I will be having some surgery this morning at the local hospital. Outpatient, and I'm told recovery will be fairly quick if it goes well -- a pesky hernia has need of fixing and this morning is the day. I'll be getting to the hospital at 5:30 am, EDT. Hope to be home by noon, God-willing.
