Mountain Man, Moi?

Ok, just for fun here's a shot of me (city guy) in full hiking the mountain trails/dude mode. It was taken a couple of years ago by Mrs. VF, near the top of Brasstown Bald in North Georgia. I decided it needed sepia and rough edged framing for full fun effect. Rugged, eh? "Ain't no mountain high enough..." Hahahaha.

I love it and it is so nice to finally put a face to the name, although I am sure your name is not viewfinder or VF. Tell Mrs. VF that she takes good pictures and your processing suits it well. I love your site because it reminds us every day to take a few moments for prayer. Give Bella a love for me.

Great fun shot - and I really like the processing that you have used on this. I just don't know about that Mountain Man title though - your beard is far too manicured and your clothes too urban for you to be a mountain man (that isn't a scarf you are wearing, is it?!?).

It is a very nice portrait, your wife clearly can take pictures as well. Have a good weekend!

@Chris: Ok, so you figured it out. I'm really not a mountain man, I'm a wannabe. But no, that's not a scarf tied around my neck, it's a Columbia brand nylon windbreaker. Only the best for the outdoor rugged set, eh?
