One Saturday Morning on My Street.3

I can't stress enough how beautiful some of our mid/late summer mornings have been. Clouds, soft morning lighting, mostly cooler temps, birdsongs, and squirrel chatter all greet us. But the big show is always the sky. I have Bella to thank for reintroducing Mr. VF Sleepyhead to what God has out there for us to enjoy, and every morning.

send some over here!:) it is sad some people here work from dusk to dawn and they miss such beautiful skies because they are slogging away in the office in the vulnerable name of recognition and fame.

Another beautiful morning shot... I never get to see the sunrise at home. I have a small NJ mountain in front of the house that blocks the sun until it is well up in the sky (about 9 AM)! The panther sighting would have been fantastic! Hugs to Bella!

I sure have been grateful for my Am3 friends faithful visits and words of encouragement! My time has been so chopped up lately that I just can't always get to everybody's site to leave comments on a regular, daily basis. But please know how much your visits here mean to me, and though I may not comment, lots of times I am lurking and viewing some fantastic shots at your various places. You are not only gracious people (and friends), but also amazing photographers. I feel humbled that you would take time to stop by here. Glad to hear that the two of you continue to enjoy these beautiful mornings together. The "ever so darker" mornings when I wake up are a bit depressing but allows me more time to sleep before seeing a sunrise. :-)

uncle VF,to answer your question about bitter gourd, wikipedia calls it 'bitter melon'.you can see how it looks like here;)

for me it is an acquired taste.They dont taste nice at all but supposedly very good for detox and good complexion:)

@tyan: Thank you dear niece. I have not encountered this melon before, any time that I am aware of. It is intriguing, but I think only someone familiar with preparing it would dare attempt to cook with it.

Well VF, Bella is a big pull on your site, but your pictures are always a joy to behold especially when they show such glorious painting made by God himself!!
