It's Sunday, y'all!
And for those who have been praying, and wanting to see a recent shot of Bella, here she is in action along the shore of what's called "the Causeway" in Bradenton. It's a little spit of land between the city and Anna Maria Island. On either side of the very, very busy roadway (thus the leash) is a narrow beach and a broad view of the bay.
As you can probably notice, Bella loves the water.
Please continue praying for that miracle of healing for Bella's heart. We thank you in advance.

Bella Update: 10/14/08, Tuesday. Bella will see her doggie cardiologist today. We are hoping and praying he will find some healing/improvement in her heart/aortic valve condition. God is the one who heals and blesses.
Bella's miracle, the one we're all praying for, is still a day by day process; it may take a bit of time for completion. Bella's battle for life, wellness, and needed healing for her heart isn't a sprint but a long-distance run. Bella and I thank you for joining her prayer "team" around the world. Each of you are truly special blessings to us.

Oh, how good it is to see her cooling her ankles in the warm waters of the bay. Her tail held high, she looks perky and happy - God bless you, Bella!

Thanks everyone! Bella is our miracle girl, a day at a time. She has amazing spirit. Her energy level is high for short spurts, then she's got to lie down, pant, and rest. That little heart is just pumping and pumping, and I just keep praying that God will get those valves inside there to mend so her heart won't have to work overtime like it's doing. And that her enlarged heart will be restored to its normal size. God made that heart, and God can heal it.
BTW, I walked her in our neighborhood this afternoon and some squirrels were spotted, and Bella gave chase with me anchoring things from the far end of her leash. Even so, she still almost caught the thing. I'm thankful she didn't...
