Slides No More 6

Here's a sculpture of what would be a Sioux Teepee (or lodge), standing on the seminary campus in Dubuque, Iowa. This would have been from the mid/late 1980s. Minolta rides again!

Please pray for Bella.

Bella Update: 10/12/08, Sun. Bella's in good spirits; we had our morning walk and a squirrel crossed her path. Highlight! Bella will see her doggie cardiologist again on October 14th. As always, God's good blessings and answers to prayer are our continuing hope. Blessings to all.

Bella's miracle, the one we're all praying for, is still a day by day process; it may take a bit of time for completion. Bella's battle for life, wellness, and needed healing for her heart isn't a sprint but a long-distance run. Bella and I thank you for joining her prayer "team" around the world. Each of you are truly special blessings to us.

I really like the colors in this - a wonderful shade of purple. The sunburst and silhouette are great as well. Still praying for Bella.......God is in Control....

Such a simple beautiful capture and those Minolta cameras were wonderful. I guess what I love about your blog is the little bits of your past coming through in your explanations. The fact that you went to seminary, etc. So many fellow followers and lovers of God on these blogs. I find that to be a real blessing. The news on Bella is hopeful and like Chris says God is in control. We keep her in our prayers.

This is such a lovely image VF. I love the purple background!! It's really awesome and makes the shot for me. My old Film camera was also a Minolta!!! I loved it and still have it packed in the cupboard.......I guess I'm a little attached to it! :)
