As Key West: The Series comes to an end for now, here's an unchanging expression found near a swimming pool, which I call my "Blockhead" portrait. This last KW image is a segue into a new, short non-Key West but still Florida-based series starting tomorrow, which I am calling "Found Faces." Tune in...

Wow! very impressive, I love the combo of the soft lush leaves in the forground and the hard stone of the sculpture. Looking forward to your new series VF, this one has been brilliant.

Nice close-up and textures, complemented by "shimmering" greens.

This looks like one of those Olmec heads. The foliage frames it perfectly!

The new series sounds interesting. I'm starting a 'found' series soon too! This face is quite scary framed so tight likr this; I feel claustraphobic. Good shot but it could do with some sharpening.

@drphoto: Good. I'm glad this face evoked such a feeling in you; that was my purpose in shooting it this way. I wanted a certain tight "feel" to it. Your comment confirms it succeeded.
Cool shot, VF!! Love how this face fills that frame with the leaves adding a touch of softness to the hardness of the stone.
