Circling for a landing -- it was Happy Hour at the KW Duval Inn. This particular day in the palm-shaded patio, our congenial host J.P. was pouring freshly made Margaritas and passing out Key West cigars to all takers. A grand time was had by all.
Please pray for Bella.
Bella Update: 07/26/08. Saturday. Bella's good this morning; walk was fun/no squirrels, but we did a different block than usual. She likes variety. Breakfast -- meds soon, the post-walk routine. She slept better last night than the one before. Panting still, but it's hot. So, thank you God for another morning blessing today.
Bella and I are grateful for each of you, for caring and singing (love is all around...), and especially for praying. Please understand this miracle being prayed for, because although it is day by day, it also may take a bit of time for completion: Bella's battle for life, wellness, and a healed heart isn't a sprint but a long-distance run.
What we have right now are day by day blessings: I am prayerfully thankful that her good days may be God's bit by bit miracle, slowly unfolding.

What an awesome character!!! I love the pose and the whole look of the picture...he reminds me of a hollywood actor, I forget his name, but that's the first thought that came to mind as I saw him!

@Mandy: A character he is indeed! A very nice guy. And he has that "Hollywood" look you saw in him here, the name I also can't place -- not a leading man type, but a character actor... He has an interesting story; a recent widower, has two grade school age children, is from New York, loves Key West.
wow that looks wonderful, he's handsome and serves margaritas, which I love, well the strawberry slush kind...great photo, I'm sorry for his loss....

Great capture, VF ... and an interesting story about the bar tender. I hope his children love the warm weather too - quite a change from NY.

@Judy: J.P. really wears several hats -- hotel manager, concierge, happy hour bartender, all in one.
Ah thats looks good. Can I join??
