Back to unprocessessed reality... For those in the frozen north, or those in the somewhat chilly tropics of coastal SW Florida, here's an archive shot from last July. Summer skies really do look like this and summer will be back before long. Meanwhile hang on and hope, all you winter warriors!
Please pray for Bella.
Bella Update: 10/14/08, Tuesday. Bella will see her doggie cardiologist today. We are hoping and praying he will find some healing/improvement in her heart/aortic valve condition. God is the one who heals and blesses.
Bella's miracle, the one we're all praying for, is still a day by day process; it may take a bit of time for completion. Bella's battle for life, wellness, and needed healing for her heart isn't a sprint but a long-distance run. Bella and I thank you for joining her prayer "team" around the world. Each of you are truly special blessings to us.

There's something so wonderfully peaceful about lying on the ground staring up at the clouds. This is a magical shot VF, so very relaxing too.

Long time since I was in Florida in the summer. My outlaws lived in Ft Liquordale.I remember the 4:00 shows... thunderstorms.
My brother lives in Melbourne. He calls June-September Florida's winter. He doesn't go out in the daytime because of the heat.
You caught it here.

@MontereyJohn: Summer thunderstorms can be pretty dramatic in coastal FL, for sure. Lightning and explosive thunder; interesting when it hits in the middle of the night. Our dogs were not afraid of thunder until we moved from Atlanta to here; before she died in Sept, our Golden Retriever Maggie was terrified. And our German Shepherd (Bella is her name, like your cat) shivers and tries to find a place to hide.
Summers are long and hot, but living on the coast offers enough breeze to make it bearable. I grew up in New Orleans, where we had these very hi temps plus very, very high humidity; summers were like being boiled or steamed alive. This heat is not nearly as bad.
I cant await this sky here in germany... sigh...

I remember clouds like that... seems soooo long ago... sigh... LOL Recharges my battery a bit to gaze upon your post... especially after the snow bound day we've had (about 6-8in of the white stuff have fallen). In other words: Wonderful and lovely image VF!!

Beautifully evocative image. It does call to mind for me also (in the plentiful-ness of these lovely white clouds) the abounding joys of summer, but also that it has its challenges too, as those clouds with their grey tones and your note to MJ also remind us. As Amy has said, truly wonderful and lovely.

This is the kind of clouds the Gods send us when they are not so angry, but just in a teasing mood! God Wind blows them in all directions and the clouds take the most unexpected shapes! Therefore, they are the "imaginative clouds" good for relaxation! Gabriela
