Designer Legs

We were sitting down, waiting for our seat at a beachside restaurant, when lo, these designer legs presented themselves to me across the bench. I happened to have my little stealth camera in my hands at the time and I just fiddled around with it enough to grab this shot, unnoticed by said legs' owner.

Beach life is interesting when you people-watch.

Stealth camera! I love it! I, too, am trying to master the art of stealth photography. This is a good capture for having been taken on the sly. Good job! =-)

@eddy: Yes I agree and tried to do that; the sunlight glare was too strong on the screen to get a clear look, and I was trying to take this photo unnoticed, so the other feet got cut off. A pity, too, because one of her feet had an interesting tattoo on it also.

Interesting tattoo! Man it's hard to take ppl's shots (once someone got offended so now I have been paranoid and I ask for their permission but they start posing so the shots do not feel right :( ) Anywho, I really like this one; one recommendation (although I understand you were trying to be invisible) is to have capture either the one pair of legs or the both pairs; showing part of the other pair makes the shot incomplete IMHO...

@Lia: Lol. Thanks for the recommendation. Yes, in an ideal world I would have shot just the one pair of legs or else caught the other pair in this same shot (as I was trying -- partly blind in the glare on my screen sitting on my lap trying to look inobtrusive) -- as I said before her foot had an interesting tattoo also. We were sitting less than five feet apart and I was amazed my photo went unnoticed as it was. No one was more disappointed than I to later see I'd missed her foot completely -- even though his was the larger and far more interesting tattoo. I tried cropping out the extra partial set of legs, but this also took out some shadows I liked. So it is as it is, and I like it that way. But I need to get better in my stealth shooting aim, esp. when it's a brightly glaring day. Thanks for your suggestions.
