Tree for TwoPosted by Viewfinder (Bradenton, FL, United States) on 26 December 2007 in Art & Design and Portfolio. Two of you (at least) have requested a shot of our tree. Aiming to please, here it is. Our tree is of the artificial variety, is seven feet tall, and very hard to photograph well in its entirety. It looks better in person, and some of the parts (like individual ornaments) are far more interesting than is the whole. If you look closely, you can see several of the ornaments I featured earlier in the "Treasures on our Tree" series. Included are the Okra Claus, a gold/yellow version of my mother's vintage ornament set (shown in power blue metallic form a couple of days ago), and of which we have a pink version as well. If you are sharp-eyed, you'll also see the one porcelain boiled shrimp, and a couple of the Florida starfish. It's kind of like playing "Where's Waldo?" Anyway, for better or worse, here's our tree, the center of our Christmas day family celebrations. You can also see some of the as then unopened presents under it (long since opened). Merry Christmas to everyone, once again. And a happy, blessed New Year to all!
