'Round yon Virgin, Mother and Child

It is Christmas Eve. All over the world people are rushing around trying to buy some last-minute something they think they can't live without. But there is only one thing we cannot live without, and that is God's love.

"God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life..."

May this life, this love, and God's peace be your blessings at Christmas.

@Mandy: Thank you Mandy; when you boil this whole thing down to its essence (of what the world has made of what we call Christmas), it would be nothing more than a massive spending spree or big block party, apart from God's gift of incarnation and love. That perfect gift is the one thing that makes all the difference.
