Wood You?

It's Sunday, y'all! And I wish everyone an early Merry Christmas! A good friend of mine from long ago seminary days had a dad who was a woodworker hobbyist. He made all kinds of stuff out of wood. One of the things he made was this wooden nativity set. All I did was add the one painted star. I love this set because of that one old man, and because of his son, my friend. And because of the faith and skill that went into making this set; and for the story it tells of God's love.
