Ok, for my first random post (consecutive from yesterday), I am posting this shot I took of a young hawk perched in a tree in my backyard.
Found it by accident; (s)he was not the least bit intimidated when I walked under the limb it was perched on. Am not sure if it was hunting for squirrels or just being nosy, but its lurking presence is a great reminder of creation's wonderful diversity in our small part of the world.
Until next time...
Please pray for Bella.
Bella Update: 10/14/08, Tuesday. Bella will see her doggie cardiologist today. We are hoping and praying he will find some healing/improvement in her heart/aortic valve condition. God is the one who heals and blesses.
Bella's miracle, the one we're all praying for, is still a day by day process; it may take a bit of time for completion. Bella's battle for life, wellness, and needed healing for her heart isn't a sprint but a long-distance run. Bella and I thank you for joining her prayer "team" around the world. Each of you are truly special blessings to us.

Fantastic Viewfinder!! Love it... and (s)he just sensed your inner calm. Whereas with me, I'm a fart in a windstorm so most things flee before me like the wolves are after them!! LOL Can't wait for your next random post!!

@Wolfgang Prigge: Right now it looks like the most random thing will be if I can comment much at everyone else's sites. That's the most time-consuming aspect of things for me right now. So this week I'll be posting a few more pix, but not necessarily commenting much. Thank you for being patient with me in this very busy time. And thank you WP, for your nicely positive comment here today.
Ohhh my she is gorgeous!!! She is soo majestic looking. VF my feeling to your LOA from here. Post when you can post, comment when you can. Enjoy this blog and other's when you have a moment to stop and catch your breath.
I have learned that our responsibilities in life, family, work, commitments to other's must come first and our blogs and the blogs of many gifted and blessed photographer's will always be here waiting for our return!

Magnificent capture. Beautiful DOF. I heartily agree with LV’s thoughts about posting and commenting – please, Am3 is meant for delight (at least that’s how I see it). Come by only when you can and like it, truly. None of us should give nor feel any pressure to post nor comment. That would make a shambles of everything we have here in this wonderful community. It’s truly great that everyone is so understanding and welcoming here. Bravo to you on this truly fantastic image again today, VF.

Outstanding image. Exceptional clarity and beautiful DOF. You were fortunate to get near enough for the shot. They usually don't hang around long.
