Here are some shadows and angles, cast on our newly refurbished backyard deck. The criss-crossing pattern of lines is like my thought processes on how to handle my life and my blog. And like the question of which, out of necessity, intersect, and which are not essential.
As for my departure plans, I am still backing off. Time for comments and replies is very, very limited.
So this is what I am doing for this week. Plan A: I am posting some fresh shots to fill the queue up, a week at a time. My comments and replies will likely be very, very limited to non-existent for a while, maybe until at least end of January. Who knows? But I will be evaluating this from day to day. Plan B: I will reduce my posting to weekends only, like LVV. Plan C: I will go completely random and occasional. Plan D: Adios.
For this week, it has been Plan A; not sure what next week holds in store, but soon we'll see how things shake down. My lean right now is toward plan c.
Thanks all, and blessings to you, my special Am3 family. You're always the best!
Please pray for Bella.
Bella Update: 07/23/08. Wednesday. Another good Bella morning, she is in good spirits, even with they mysterious disappearance of our normally numerous and active neighborhood squirrel population. Maybe "Sheriff Bella" has cleaned out Dodge and sent all those tree-climbing hoodlums packing. Heh.
Bella and I appreciate each of you for caring and praying. Please understand this miracle being prayed for, because although it is day by day, it also may take a bit of time for completion: Bella's battle for life, wellness, and a healed heart isn't a sprint but a long-distance run.
What we have right now are daily blessings: I am prayerfully thankful that her good days may be God's bit by bit miracle that is slowly unfolding.

@Lorraine: No, actually it is what's left of a fallen flower from the pink kapok tree I'd posted here a couple of weeks ago.
Fantastic shadows VF and the wood tones are lovely. Please don't pick Plan D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Jen: ;-) Thanks Jen. We'll see. Right now the lean is toward plan c, which could be anything from random clusters of daily posts, to infrequent and occasional postings. My commenting will be much less consistent. I do have a minor goal of making it to 200 posts on Am3 before the end of the year. Just about 20 something to go, I think.
Nice shot View ! This is just what the doctor ordered !! It is so cold here and this picture fels like 80 degrees to me ! :o)

Wonderful capture of the shadows and geometry. And wise words. I heartily agree with you on the need to evaluate what is really necessary in life.

Creo que podrías probrar en blanco y negro con esta fotografía. Podría lucir aún mejor. Felicidades. I thinking this image in black and white. it could shine still better.
Congratulation.
