Who Knows Clouds?

Posted by Viewfinder (Bradenton, FL, United States) on 28 November 2007 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

From the summer archives, above the USA exhibit at Disney World's Epcot, this very unusual cloud pattern emerged. I looked, I snapped, I wondered. Then I posted here.

But as the song goes, I don't know much about why these clouds look the way they do.

BTW, this is a totally undoctored image; fresh from the camera chip to your screen.

"Rows and flows of angel hair
And ice cream castles in the air
And feather canyons everywhere
I've looked at clouds that way.

"But now they only block the sun
They rain and snow on everyone
So many things I would have done
But clouds got in my way.

"I've looked at clouds from both sides now
From up and down and still somehow
It's cloud illusions I recall
I really don't know clouds at all."

Am3 friends -- I just appreciate you all so much. Your visits and comments are special to me. Today I am letting you all know I will be taking a bit of a leave of absence from here. I'll have some daily posts for the rest of this week, but I am evaluating my time-commitment to this daily thing. I am considering either dropping to random/occasional, doing just weekends, or ending it altogether. We are entering into my busiest time of the year and there is not enough of me left to do church, family, and photoblog justice, as well as take care of me. So I will be stepping back and evaluating my participation. Just wanted you, my dear friends, to know.
