Frond of You

Here are some spikey palm fronds on a little native tree we planted in our yard. I did do some saturation stuff to sort of enhance the color a wee bit. Always good to kick things up a notch now and then, eh?

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL AT AM3. I am out and probably away from the computer all this week. We are headed to north Georgia to spend Thanksgiving with our son and his wife and her family. I hope everyone who celebrates this holiday has a wonderful day, filled with turkey and gratitude for every blessing. And those who do not, I hope will remember to count their blessings and be thankful. Packing and getting the SUV all set for the drive today; we leave very early Tuesday morning and plan to return sometime Sunday.

Wow it's gorgeous VF...Such a lovely green. It look slike the frondsof what we call a "Jelly palm", am I right? I'm not sure of the proper name but I know that's the common name they go by here!

@Mandy: Glad you like this one Mandy, and as always, thanks for the nice words. I'd guess jelly palm is a local name; this is a variety "washingtonia" or something; some just call 'em cabbage palms. Blessings to you!

man this is so totally SPECTACULAR! I love the colours all right!They look so lovely and what a creative angle!Now we know not only is VF a superb photographer,but VF household has green fingers too!:)
