Purple 5

Meanwhile, back in New Orleans, this barely pre-Katrina archival shot (taken first week of August '05) outside Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville night spot and retail shop in the French Quarter shows a fair amount of tropical purple painted onto this delivery truck.

Smile. Changes in latitude, y'all.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL AT AM3. I am out and probably away from the computer all this week. We are headed to north Georgia to spend Thanksgiving with our son and his wife and her family. I hope everyone who celebrates this holiday has a wonderful day, filled with turkey and gratitude for every blessing. And those who do not, I hope will remember to count their blessings and be thankful. Packing and getting the SUV all set for the drive today; we leave very early Tuesday morning and plan to return sometime Sunday.

Makes me smile with all those tropical colours!! Especially when I look out at the drab scenery we have now.

Man, that is ONE colorful truck. To think we cant have little lights on our cars in VA because its considered a distraction - WHAT the HECK would THAT truck be considered?

Seriously Gorgeous colour!! :o) Can’t remember whether this is one of the names of the places we dined at in New Orleans, but we were certainly impressed by the food wherever we ate in the city, especially the seafood!! Yum!! :) This pic somehow reminds me of the lively cultural scene and colourful, zesty, tasty food we were so impressed by in this fabulous city… Triple Yum, dear VF!!! :)
