Purple 1

Not macroed, this flower was zoomed in on. It was caught red-handed (or should that be purple-handed?), shamelessly blooming in a Bradenton flower bed. The nerve!

For no particular reason, other than I can do this, it's my blog - this is the first of a random series, loosely anchored each day by the featuring of something that includes the color purple.

@tyan: Purple is the color of royalty according to tradition; it's always been one of my favorite colors (though I am far from being royal)...
