Ghosts of New Orleans 3

Posted by Viewfinder (Bradenton, FL, United States) on 27 October 2007 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

Trick or treat! Outside the gates of Jackson Square lies the world of French Quarter weirdness. And in that world, the myriad denizens come and go. New Orleans has always been like that.

As I stood around just people watching, this one particular person walked (or floated) by, looking every bit like Jacob Marley, the lost soul from Dickens' great novel A Christmas Carol.

Whether he is Marley or not, we'll leave up to the Almighty. But you gotta admit, he cuts a pretty spooky figure in this ghostly parade. Boo!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL AT AM3. I am out and probably away from the computer all this week. We are headed to north Georgia to spend Thanksgiving with our son and his wife and her family. I hope everyone who celebrates this holiday has a wonderful day, filled with turkey and gratitude for every blessing. And those who do not, I hope will remember to count their blessings and be thankful. Packing and getting the SUV all set for the drive today; we leave very early Tuesday morning and plan to return sometime Sunday.
