Ok, so one of the most spectacular things about life and scenery in coastal Florida would be the sunsets. Continued from yesterday, this on-going sunset was captured last Sunday as we cruised southbound on I-75 from Atlanta. Shot at 75 mph, that blurred little bit of power pole at the right bottom sort of gives away our speed and motion.
Please pray for Bella.
Bella Update: 07/23/08. Wednesday. Another good Bella morning, she is in good spirits, even with they mysterious disappearance of our normally numerous and active neighborhood squirrel population. Maybe "Sheriff Bella" has cleaned out Dodge and sent all those tree-climbing hoodlums packing. Heh.
Bella and I appreciate each of you for caring and praying. Please understand this miracle being prayed for, because although it is day by day, it also may take a bit of time for completion: Bella's battle for life, wellness, and a healed heart isn't a sprint but a long-distance run.
What we have right now are daily blessings: I am prayerfully thankful that her good days may be God's bit by bit miracle that is slowly unfolding.

@ColNed Pictures: Thank you; in autumn the great skies are about the only extra color we see. The full moon-rise a couple of weeks ago was spectacular; didn't have time to photo it. Sigh...
What a beautiful sunset! Great colors.

@tyan: Speed cameras... ugh! Our speed did impact the focus, IMO, and I'm sad about that.
Wow, these are truly royal tones, sir, and such an utterly marvellous composition, especially at speed !! (really relieved to remember Mrs VF at the wheel as this shot is taken :) ) Tremendous beauty here. I’m gobsmacked once again! :)

@Rebecca: Thanks kind Rebecca. Your compliments just feel so good! We'll miss you all next week, but hopefully you will have a wonderful time with your family. Wish your dad a happy birthday for me and Mrs. VF.
super shot considering you were driving at 75 miles per hour ... I can see the blur of the pole

@R: Wish there was a little more sharpness to the shot, but the speed did in the autofocus a bit more than I would have liked.
I think the silhouette of the Power Pole makes this shot super!

@Rabbit: Thank you Rabbit. You are such a kind gal!
A drive by shooting, eh?!!! VERY nicely done! The blur gives it some depth. Wonderful Viewfinder!!

@amy: Thanks for being so kind. LOL - "drive by shooting." Your shot today is great; the time you spent deciding what to do with it really paid off.
One more nice sky, well done dear

Another spectacular and peaceful image! Lovely!

@Brian: All credit to God, all I did was snap the shutter. As I think you know, Florida, day by day, looks pretty much this way.
Love the blurring on this one - good find!

You get nice sunsets on your coast. Here it's sunrises, but I'm rarely up in time to see them :)

@Ken McCoy: Thanks, Ken. It's nice to think of this as "my" coast. But I'm with you, if it were the sunrise coast like "yours" I'd probably never see too many of those either.
Fantastic shot taken at speed VF & Mrs VF!!! :))
