Last year we inherited this small, low hedge of nondescript dwarf ixora. Didn't seem like much, but we kept it around. Well, were we ever glad -- because here it is when these little plants finally chose to bloom for us... it was like the whole low hedge was aflame.
Please pray for Bella.
Bella Update: 07/23/08. Wednesday. Another good Bella morning, she is in good spirits, even with they mysterious disappearance of our normally numerous and active neighborhood squirrel population. Maybe "Sheriff Bella" has cleaned out Dodge and sent all those tree-climbing hoodlums packing. Heh.
Bella and I appreciate each of you for caring and praying. Please understand this miracle being prayed for, because although it is day by day, it also may take a bit of time for completion: Bella's battle for life, wellness, and a healed heart isn't a sprint but a long-distance run.
What we have right now are daily blessings: I am prayerfully thankful that her good days may be God's bit by bit miracle that is slowly unfolding.

Hello Viewfinder...I'm being moderated again. Hope this comment isn't twice. Beautiful image.A+
21 Sep 2007 7:20am
@Rebel Szczesny: Nope, it came up once. Sorry the moderation thing is still going on. I think the 'net has become a much less safe and friendly place. Too many predators out there with nothing better to do. But I digress. Thanks a lot for the A+ on this one. Your site today is a major grand-slam home run.
Wonderful colour Viewfinder!

Am posting something from a fellow Am3er, Dimitrios, who has an interesting proposal for us... Dear friends in the am3 world. I would like to propose the publication of a couple of self portraits for Friday 28th and Saturday 29th of September. It can be anything you like, mirror images which is the easiest, reflection on a spoon! Ha-ha-ha, or even sketches of yourselves. It will be great to see each other and to meet the talented photographers from all around the globe. I have the greatest respect for the people that want but cannot due to cultural or religious reasons publish their image on the web. For these am3-friends that want to participate, I kindly ask them to publish instead a picture of a place in their home town that they are proud of. Please feel free to copy this text with your daily pictures so we have a great participation. I am looking forward in meeting you on 28th and 29th September, see ya soon. Kind regards Dimitrios.
I will probably do at least one of the two days, maybe both.

@rainsocks: Thanks; we're glad too. Before they bloomed we were considering pulling them up and planting something else. Now we know they are worth waiting on.

But on a more serious note,i suppose i dont blog abt the burnt food, the eternally dirty house,a messy mom and her kids, the toddler making a nuisance of himself at the supermart blah blah blah. But i really appreciate your kind words, short but touched my heart greatly:)
