Faux BirdiePosted by Viewfinder (Bradenton, FL, United States) on 14 September 2007 in Art & Design and Portfolio. The Bradenton art district sports all kinds of different artistic expressions. One of these is found at the shop of a sculptor of aluminum images. This is part of a life size representation of a pink flamingo, in aluminum tones; of course it's faux. The large out of focus whitish silver area in the lower half of this image is one of the extended wings reflecting a strong mid-day sun. D80 #5. HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL AT AM3. I am out and probably away from the computer all this week. We are headed to north Georgia to spend Thanksgiving with our son and his wife and her family. I hope everyone who celebrates this holiday has a wonderful day, filled with turkey and gratitude for every blessing. And those who do not, I hope will remember to count their blessings and be thankful. Packing and getting the SUV all set for the drive today; we leave very early Tuesday morning and plan to return sometime Sunday.
