It's Sunday, everybody! I'm still testing out my new Lumix -- this time indoors, with flash. But you're gaining a privileged peek at part of the top of my office desk. These books are a part of my regular reading list, study list, devotionals, or "to be read soon" list. All in a day's work for me.
Soli Deo Gloria!
Please pray for Bella.
Bella Update: 07/26/08. Saturday. Bella's good this morning; walk was fun/no squirrels, but we did a different block than usual. She likes variety. Breakfast -- meds soon, the post-walk routine. She slept better last night than the one before. Panting still, but it's hot. So, thank you God for another morning blessing today.
Bella and I are grateful for each of you, for caring and singing (love is all around...), and especially for praying. Please understand this miracle being prayed for, because although it is day by day, it also may take a bit of time for completion: Bella's battle for life, wellness, and a healed heart isn't a sprint but a long-distance run.
What we have right now are day by day blessings: I am prayerfully thankful that her good days may be God's bit by bit miracle, slowly unfolding.

This is a brilliant capture reflecting a brilliant mind (and an excellent camera with a brilliant flash, i must add), VF! :) Not all these reads are familiar to me, though some are close to home. But I must say Eugene Peterson's writings are much loved in our household. :) Hope you're having a most blessed Sunday! :)

Wow, interesting capture...I must live in a cave because I don't know any of these titles.
I guess I could capture my TVGuide, Dog First Aid book, stained coaster and unpaid bills that are on my desk too but it may not be as inspiring.
Cheers,
Rob

Everybody, whoever has posted a comment on my site since Friday -- THANK YOU! It's been one of those on the go weekends for us; between what I do on Sundays (every week), and what was going on Fri and Sat (all good stuff), I've hardly had more than a couple of minutes to sit down at the computer. So I've tried tonight to visit all your sites and leave my thanks with you there. Hopefully I haven't overlooked anyone -- but if I have, consider yourself appreciated very much by me. Blessings to all...
Oh, and look for my D80's debut here tomorrow.
Hey VF....Sorry for the delayed visit...rugby fever has hit us here in the South with The World Cup solidly under way...yesterday was our first match - we thumped Samoa 59-7!!! Rugby is one of our national sports so it's always invloves lots of friends, food and fun! Thanks for the peak into your desk...I've been contemplating doing a series of pics on my passions...one of which is reading and seeing your range of books perhaps I should :)..... Blessings to you my friend! :)

Great composition - With the words of the "The World Is Flat" leading us into the interesting assortment of your reading material. I'm jealous (i'm dyslexic so no reading books for me) in less they are instructions, i like that, i read manuals for some reason. Even tho it may appear i do not have too big an issue with spelling i think when i post comments i correct every 3rd word. <shrug> its ok tho i suppose thats why i'm good at "thinking outside the box" for many other things.
