Sunset Series, 6Posted by Viewfinder (Bradenton, FL, United States) on 25 August 2007 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. This is the grand finale. Sometimes the very best colors happen a bit after the sun sinks below the Gulf horizon. That's when all kinds of extra leftover light gets caught up in the towering, drifting clouds, and starts painting its wild, colored palette across an eager canvas-sky. Confession: I just ever so slightly brightened this (10%) and tweaked the contrast (only 20%) -- to better show the trees and hut roof. Even so, my eyes have seen it. Now yours have, too. Sunset truly is a most magical time here in what the locals call "paradise". Hope you've enjoyed this little series.
