Sunset 5Posted by Viewfinder (Bradenton, FL, United States) on 24 August 2007 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. Here are some really beachy pastels for you. Took this one over some of the bay's mangrove trees. As seedlings, these mangroves simply set roots in watery sand and draw all manner of debris to themselves; eventually they form small islands from this material. But always, just beyond the bay and past the tree tops and mangrove islands lies the open Gulf of Mexico. Bay sunsets have their own magical moments here on Florida's west coast. So many different sky and color possibilities... If I am slow in posting today, please know that each of you in this Am3 community are super. Thank you for coming by, and for leaving your comments. --VF HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL AT AM3. I am out and probably away from the computer all this week. We are headed to north Georgia to spend Thanksgiving with our son and his wife and her family. I hope everyone who celebrates this holiday has a wonderful day, filled with turkey and gratitude for every blessing. And those who do not, I hope will remember to count their blessings and be thankful. Packing and getting the SUV all set for the drive today; we leave very early Tuesday morning and plan to return sometime Sunday.
