Sunset 2

This is a wide angle shot of a late July sunset as it softly glows off the elongated shoreline waters of Anna Maria Island. In response, the rest of the sky becomes like a harlequin riot. In this series, my hope has been to show off just a few of the many different moods found around this amazingly wonderful time of day.
@obrazu: Thank you obrazu. Some days those clouds are just so willing to be photographed, it's like they just about line up. Other days, not so willing...

So clearly and beautifully captured that precious ball illuminating the horizon. And that cloudscape and seascape, just breathtaking. Pardon me, but this has to be another wow! :)

This is one extremely beautiful and well taken sunset photograph. I love how the clouds and waves are in sync.

@Persian King: Thank you PK. I'm happy that you find this one pleasing. I wondered how it would come out, because using the wider angle definitely places the setting sun into an almost "otherworldly" distance -- but I wanted a "bigger picture" to pull in all of the variously pleasing sunset elements of sun, sky, and sea visible at that particular moment.

The colour is special here with the lovely reflected light from the waves. The centred horizon works well because of the difference in texture and tone between the sea and the sky.

Another beautiful sunset! The little "puffs" of dark clouds make this one different. It could be used as a background for a poster of some sacred text...
