@Bron: Thank you Bron. You might be interested in knowing that these lovely trees along the path are Austrailian pines. Sometime inside the last 100 years or less, Florida brought in Austrailian pines to assist in draining swampy areas and wet ground. They took to their new environment with abandon and spread like wildfire. Unfortunately the environmental purists now view them as "not natural to Florida" and are leading a campaign to erradicate them, along with some other non-native species. A far more ominous population has taken root in the Florida Everglades -- the Burmese python. There is now a breeding population that is established there. So far I have no pictures to offer.

I think the beach culture lends itself to wandering some, meandering from one point to the next in no particular hurry. Jimmy Buffett is right -- "changes in latitude, changes in attitude." I've even met some former New Yorkers who are pretty laid back about things <he says with a wicked but friendly grin>...
