A Wall, Y'all (BW)Posted by Viewfinder (Bradenton, FL, United States) on 12 August 2007 in Architecture and Portfolio. “A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, 'darkness' on the walls of his cell.” ~C.S. Lewis Found this interesting wall framing a garden patio at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, GA. A restful, spiritual place, with no scribbles on this or any wall. But because of the uniquely designed materials used to build it, maybe this one wall could be called a "holey wall." (all native English speakers may now join in a unison "Groan!") It's Sunday, y'all. Rejoice! Soli Deo Gloria. HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL AT AM3. I am out and probably away from the computer all this week. We are headed to north Georgia to spend Thanksgiving with our son and his wife and her family. I hope everyone who celebrates this holiday has a wonderful day, filled with turkey and gratitude for every blessing. And those who do not, I hope will remember to count their blessings and be thankful. Packing and getting the SUV all set for the drive today; we leave very early Tuesday morning and plan to return sometime Sunday.
