Panhandle Days 3

Posted by Viewfinder (Bradenton, FL, United States) on 4 August 2007 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Florida is not always all-sunshine. There are times when summer storms do crop up, like here. When a storm comes, it's almost always a relief from the heat of the afternoon, but the lightning, wind, and waves can be pretty dramatic. This storm was mostly over, and while it was rather mild by Panhandle standards we still got a pretty fair amount of rain that day.

Thanks to all the AM3 community for all your visits and encouragement, and for what you're posting at your own sites every day. I'm learning a lot, and enjoying getting to "know" y'all through your art.
:-D

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL AT AM3. I am out and probably away from the computer all this week. We are headed to north Georgia to spend Thanksgiving with our son and his wife and her family. I hope everyone who celebrates this holiday has a wonderful day, filled with turkey and gratitude for every blessing. And those who do not, I hope will remember to count their blessings and be thankful. Packing and getting the SUV all set for the drive today; we leave very early Tuesday morning and plan to return sometime Sunday.
