Rose Window

Posted by Viewfinder (Bradenton, FL, United States) on 29 July 2007 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio.

For your Sunday viewing pleasure, a close up of a mini rose window that hangs in my office. Some of the lack of sharpness and detail is actually the way this little reproduction looks.

The dark shadow area near the bottom is some clunky imperfection on my real window, behind this stained glass miniature.

Sometimes we try to keep our own dark, imperfect places in the background. But they still show up. The good news is, if we put our trust in him, God's covering of light and grace will overcome even the darkest shadows and imperfections. The way the beauty of this stained glass covers my otherwise not so lovely window.

Soli Deo Gloria.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL AT AM3. I am out and probably away from the computer all this week. We are headed to north Georgia to spend Thanksgiving with our son and his wife and her family. I hope everyone who celebrates this holiday has a wonderful day, filled with turkey and gratitude for every blessing. And those who do not, I hope will remember to count their blessings and be thankful. Packing and getting the SUV all set for the drive today; we leave very early Tuesday morning and plan to return sometime Sunday.
