@Harald: Thank you; kind of a quieter image today than yesterday's starkly bold one.

@Jen: Glad you like the image and all that went into it. My wife has a great eye for these things; I mostly get to carry them from the SUV to the garage, to whatever their final placement might be. But then we have fun doing whatever workovers they might require; for instance, we painted this table's wooden parts a sort of beachy-looking periwinkle/blue/purplish color and then placed it on our screen porch under the ceiling fan.

@HorseRotorVator: Thanks HRV; a lot of our favorite furniture and stuff has a "history" and that's what makes it special to us. Anybody can buy new furniture, not that we don't have our share. It's just those "special" pieces, like this old table are things we especially enjoy finding and making a part of our home and our history.
