Our poor cat hates it when the camera crew breaks into his privacy and destroys his more contempletive moments...
Please pray for Bella.
Bella Update: 07/26/08. Saturday. Bella's good this morning; walk was fun/no squirrels, but we did a different block than usual. She likes variety. Breakfast -- meds soon, the post-walk routine. She slept better last night than the one before. Panting still, but it's hot. So, thank you God for another morning blessing today.
Bella and I are grateful for each of you, for caring and singing (love is all around...), and especially for praying. Please understand this miracle being prayed for, because although it is day by day, it also may take a bit of time for completion: Bella's battle for life, wellness, and a healed heart isn't a sprint but a long-distance run.
What we have right now are day by day blessings: I am prayerfully thankful that her good days may be God's bit by bit miracle, slowly unfolding.

@MC: Heh... I think you have some insider info here. ;-)
Haha! I love this picture - love its expression!

@Celialee: We sometimes refer to him as the Grinch, scowling down at Who-ville with disdain in his heart.
Wow, the cat look so fierce there. I feel like he/she is so ready to devour me =) Nice pic!

@Wendy: Myrtle is our cat's name. Myrtle is a male. He looks far more fierce than he actually is. It's a long story how he got a girl's name. Maybe that's why he scowls sometimes. He's really a sweet cat.
Very nice shot! Yuor cat reminds me my childhood cat that I loved it so much, she was like yours !

@Reza: Thanks, I appreciate your comments; it makes me glad that my cat reminded you of yours. Good photos should do that for all of us.
I can see why the chipmunks might want to stay out of your yard. :)
10 Jul 2007 8:56pm
@Walt: Heh... down here in FL now, Myrtle is more a lizard-catcher than a chipmunk chaser these days. But there was a time when he was the main tiger of the yard when we lived in KY and GA. Glad you dropped in.
Super duper capture! I love it!!! What an expression! :)

@stijn: Ha-ha! Thanks.
That's one of the maddest looking cats I've ever seen. Even the caged cats at the zoo don't looked this miffed.

@Twelvebit: Laughing... this cat is actually very sweet, but he has his moments. Like this one.
Straight from a disappointing tale with some blue flowers - looks excellent! A good one.

@Lorraine: Myrtle is a real personality, a real character, for sure. And he thanks you for the compliments. He got his name as a tiny kitten, when we thought he was a she. The girl name stuck. Maybe that accounts for some of his expressions.
LOL, that's hilarious..maybe you can nickname him Myrt, you know to take the trauma away
4 Aug 2007 8:29am
@Lorraine: Laughing, too. Thanks Lorraine; we have long since nicknamed him Myrt. He is still not amused.
